ADDIE Motzko
Addie Motzko is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in metal sculpture. Her work is deeply inspired by the interplay between organic shapes and industrial materials, creating a harmonious balance between the natural and man-made worlds. Through her process, flat pieces of steel are cut, pounded and shaped, and welded to form abstract and organic sculptures. These three-dimensional works serves as a canvas to express emotions, ideas and experiences. In addition to her abstract pieces, Addie’s work also explores figurative elements, drawing inspiration from real people and qualities that influence her. Addie’s work has been exhibited at Metro State University, Rumriver Art Center, The Robbin Gallery, Hutchinson Sculpture Stroll, Delano Sculpture Park, White Bear Center for the Arts, Creators Space Gallery, Art-A-Whirl Solar Arts Building, The Gallery at Zeller Studio, Minnetonka Center for the Arts, Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Plymouth Primavera, University of Minnesota, and the Guild of Blacksmiths Magazine and Annual Conference Exhibit.
